Universities
Students with appropriate FETAC Level 5/6 qualifications with specific modules and who achieve a minimum of five module Distinctions may be admitted on a competitive basis to certain Degree Programmes. Requirements are listed in the prospectus of the individual University.

Institutes of Technology
Graduates with full FETAC LEVEL 5 awards may have their results converted to CAO points for admission to Institutes of Technology (excluding DIT) For information on DIT visit www.dit.ie
An overall points score is calculated based on the 8 best modules presented. Certain courses are not subject to this arrangement therefore candidates should consult with the Admissions Offices of the college of their choice
and visit www.cao.ie
Specific Higher Certificate (Level 6), Ordinary Degree (Level 7) and Honours Degree (Level 8) courses may have specific FETAC module or FETAC award requirements. Candidates should consult the prospectus of the individual Institute and visit www.cao.ie
Progression from FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate – Business
The College is negotiating further progression opportunities for
FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate – Business courses. To date, students can apply for year 2 advanced entry into a Level 7 degree in IADT and the institute of Technology, Tallaght with further links
pending.
Progression from BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business and Marketing and Higher National Diploma in Media (Journalism)
The college is continually making progress on establishing progression opportunities for our HND graduates. Students who successfully complete BTEC Higher National Diplomas may be eligible to apply for entry to year 2 or 3 of cognate Degree programmes in Institutes of Technology, Universities and other Higher Education Colleges. Graduates of the HND Business/ Marketing
may apply for exemptions on the Graduateship of the Marketing Institute
of Ireland.
