Rathmines Festival is a weekend of live events. Dance, music, comedy, art, photography, poetry, debate, film. The range of its activities is extraordinary.
Since 2002 it has featured some of the best-known names in Ireland including Alan Stanford, Garrett Fitzgerald, Nell McCafferty, Saw Doctors, Juliet Turner, John Feely, Cora Venus Lunny, Donal O’Kelly, Eanna Ní Lámhna and many more.

Rathmines College instigated the festival and though it is now a separate organisation, strong links have been maintained. This is particularly valuable to the Cultural & Corporate Project Management students who are encouraged to become involved in its organisation and, as part of the course, have produced events included in the festival programme. We envisage this close relationship continuing as long as there is Rathmines Festival.
