Rathmines College- Spooky Transformat for RAG Day!

Rathmines College was alive with spooky spirit on October 23rd for our annual Rag Day! Our students and staff truly outdid themselves, transforming the college into a ghoulishly good time. From classic vampires and witches to Harry Potter, Teletubbies and creative creatures of the night, the effort put into the fancy dress was truly impressive.

The competitive spirit was alive and well at the table tennis tables, where rallies were as intense ! For those seeking a more relaxed (but equally fun) time, board games offered a chance for strategic minds to battle it out. The PS5 zones were, as always, apopular haunt, with cheers and groans echoing through the room as students tackled virtual challenges.

Our very own Marketing students: Martha Kane and Jessica Cusack were on the front lines, acting as intrepid reporters for the day. Armed with cameras and questions, they interviewed staff and students, capturing all the Halloween happenings and getting some truly spirited responses. Keep an eye on our social media channels – for their “spooky student takeover” – their content is definitely worth a watch!

The RAG Day Quiz tested our knowledge on everything from pop culture to Halloween lore. Of course, no Rathmines College event would be complete without some delicious treats, and those quick enough managed to snag a slice of pizza – a much-needed energy boost for all the day’s activities!

It was a brilliant day filled with community spirit, creativity, and a whole lot of fun.
