The college has partnered and developed relationships with employers over many years. These relationships have helped the college to keep abreast of the changing needs of industry when developing and reviewing the range of courses offered. Skills to Advance
This new Employee Development Skills to Advance Policy launched by the government is very exciting for SME employers. This initiative enables your employees to up skilled or reskill for today’s industry needs.
Rathmines College can support the growing needs of your business by carrying out a skills audit of your company to identify skills needs for a changing industry. A QQI Level 5 Certificate or Level 6 Advance Certificate can be tailored to your company needs whether it is in the area of Customer Service, Digital Marketing or IT. This skills audit will match innovative learning solutions that suit you, the employer.
For qualifying SMEs there is no financial cost for undertaking a QQI Level 5 course and there is a 70% discount for QQI Level 6 courses.
This programme is designed to encourage long term employees to engage with lifelong learning and to assist employers to future proof their businesses by upskilling their existing workforce.

Rathmines College offers a two year ATI apprenticeship programme. We have a designated team of mentors that supports the apprentices in college and visit the work-place mentor twice a year for feedback on the performance of the apprentice.
