Career Opportunites

Accounting Technicians are the skilled support staff working in the area of accounting and finance. Qualification as a member of the Institute provides young people with a recognised competence and valuable mobility. This mobility could be on a local basis within Ireland or internationally. Further upward mobility is available to students who successfully pass their Foundation and Admission examinations.

Spending an extra year doing my QQI Level 5 in Business and IT was the best decision for me. The help and support from teachers was great. I felt like I had more potential after graduating from Business and IT and the course led me to now studying Business, Economics and Social Studies (BESS) in Trinity.
