Many of our Accountancy, Business and Taxation students secured their top choice through the CAO. Others are progressing to the professional accounting courses here in Rathmines, Here’s what some of our 2026 graduates of ABT have to say about their time in Rathmines.
George Hague
“The time I spent in Rathmines College was short, but the knowledge it gave me has been a huge benefit in furthering my education. I am currently studying Account & Finance at TUD Blanchardstown, and it has been a breeze so far thanks to this course. Thank you to the staff at Rathmines College for helping me on my journey through education”

During the Leaving Certificate, I knew I wanted to go down the Business path but unsure if that is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Valeria Chirtoaca
“The ABT course gave me the opportunity to develop my knowledge of accounting and business while also gaining skills in practical things like Excel. I really enjoyed my time at Rathmines College. The teachers were extremely helpful throughout the year while also creating a welcoming atmosphere. and I would recommend students to complete a PLC course if they are unsure what they would like to do in the future. Not also that, but it is a great opportunity to learn different skills, meet new people as well as gain confidence. I am now studying Commerce in UCD and looking back, I am really grateful that I chose to do my PLC at Rathmines College.”

Naoise Byrne
” I am a former student in the ABT course and current student in the Diploma in Accountancy and Business ACCA1 course. I have always struggled within the education system, after I completed my level 4 course, I came to Rathmines to study Accountancy, Business and Taxation at level 5, I had a lot of support from my teachers and classmates and because of that support I was successful in completing my course and I attended my graduation ceremony. Studying at Rathmines College offered me a completely different education experience, that was more supportive, uplifting and positive. The teachers are very accomplished and professional and offer lots of guidance and support to every individual student. Within the year I became more confident in my own abilities and more confident socially. I decided to continue my education in Rathmines college with a level 6 ACCA course this year and am looking forward to another year in Rathmines. Applying to Rathmines was a great decision for me and my future and I am excited to see how much more I can learn from this college.
