I recently completed the QQI Level 6 Advanced Business course at Rathmines College, and it was a key step in my academic journey. Before starting, I had an interest in business but wasn’t fully confident about my direction. This course helped me build both clarity and confidence in pursuing my goals.
What stood out most during my time at Rathmines was:
The Supportive Environment:
The teachers are approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in student success. They encourage you to do your best and are always available to help.
University Preparation:
The combination of continuous assessment and exams prepared me very well for university life. I developed strong skills in research, report writing, and time management, which I now use regularly in my second year at college.
Engaging Modules:
I particularly enjoyed the business-related modules, as they were practical and relevant. The smaller class sizes also made it easier to participate, ask questions, and stay engaged.
Because of the results I achieved at Rathmines College, I was able to progress to my degree: Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business at the National College of Ireland, where I am currently in my second year.
