Business & Finance
This well-established one-year QQI Level 5 Business and Finance course is an excellent introduction to so many areas of business, accounting and finance. The course covers key areas of business to include economics, tax, accounting and also practical IT skills, with modules in WP and spreadsheets, that further enhance skills needed to work in so many areas of business. Successful graduates have progressed to popular 3rd Level Business degree courses including; Commerce in UCD (DN650), Accounting and Finance in DCU (DC115), Accounting & Finance in TU Dublin (TU933).

Education Progression
Students who complete the one-year Business and Finance QQI Level 5 course can progress through the CAO system to Higher Education courses in Trinity College Dublin, UCD, DCU, Maynooth University, TU Dublin, National College of Ireland and IADT. Successful graduates have secured places in Commerce UCD (DN650), Accounting and Finance in DCU (DC115) and Business Studies (DC111).
Another progression route is the Rathmines College QQI Level 6 one-year Advanced Certificate in Business, students have the opportunity to access courses at Advanced Entry (2nd year) of popular degree courses in both TU Dublin and NCI.
Career Opportunites
Graduates of the QQI Level 5 Certificate in Business and Finance have the skills and confidence to work in a wide range of professional roles. Recent graduates are now working in banking and finance and accounting for national and multinational organisations.
