DURATION One year full time
The Course will teach learners the fundamental skills in Social and Digital Media, as well as web design and Entrepreneurial skills. It will be underpinned by very practical applications including Marketing and Public Relations. Students will study up to date content in topical areas such as marketing research, marketing planning, promotional methods, social media marketing, search engine optimization, digital advertising, and effective public relations. Students will be eligible to apply for progression through the CAO to various Business and Marketing courses including TU Dublin, IADT and NU Maynooth.
Please note: some courses may involve remote teaching next year depending on Covid and the instruction from the HSE.

Applicants should have completed Leaving Certificate course or equivalent
Mature Applicants welcome.

This course will teach students the fundamental skills of working with social media or public relations. Students can set up their own social media blog or decide to progress into a marketing or public relations department. It will be underpinned by very practical applications to include web design, marketing as well as entrepreneurial skills.
