Marketing
This well-established one-year QQI Level 5 Marketing course is an excellent introduction to so many areas of marketing – digital and traditional. Successful graduates have the opportunity to progress to popular marketing degree courses including: Marketing Innovation & Technology (DC240) and Business Studies (DC111) in DCU, Digital Marketing in TU Dublin (TU920/921) and Marketing in TU Dublin (TU922).
The course covers digital marketing, marketing practice, PR and IT modules that further enhance skills needed to work in so many areas of marketing and communications. Students benefit from small class sizes and can choose to study French or Spanish as an optional module. Assessment is mainly project based and students develop their entrepreneurial and digital marketing skills, working on marketing plans for real-life brands. Education Progression
Students who complete the one-year QQI Level 5 Certificate in Marketing can progress through the CAO system to Higher Education. Popular marketing courses in Ireland that our students progress to include:

- DC240 Marketing, Innovation and Technology – Level 8
- DC111 Business Studies – Level 8
Another option after Level 5 is to stay at Rathmines College for a 2nd year to complete the Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Business. Our Level 6 graduates are eligible for automatic advanced entry to 2nd year of popular business degree courses in both TU Dublin and NCI, including:
- NC020- Bachelor of Business in Marketing Practice in NCI.
